Abdulsalam Alkholidi, a lecturer and researcher at the Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT), is a professor and doctor engineer. Published 43 papers and co-authored two books in English-language. He earned his Ph.D. in numerical and optical information compression from the University of Western Brittany in 2007. He earned his B.Eng. (honors) and M.Sc. degrees in telecommunications engineering and electronics from the University of Rouen in Normandy, France, and St. Petersburg State University of Telecommunications, respectively, in 1990 and 2004. In 1998, he was awarded an advanced certificate in MTNM98 by the Telia Academy in Kalmar, Sweden. He has extensive knowledge of optical and photonic technologies, certification, and quality control. His areas of research interest are data and image processing, optics, and photovoltaics. He serves as a reviewer for various international scientific publications.

Sokol Abazi graduated as Industrial Chemist in Albania, Tirana University in 1989. In 1997 he obtained his PhD from Fribourg University (Switzerland) in organic synthesis using radical chemistry. After a Postdoc in Total Synthesis of Natural Products at Oxford University in 1998, he worked for a couple of companies in the UK and Switzerland and then returned to Albania working as a Professor at Tirana University. Since 2015 he is a Full Professor at CIT, from 2020 he holds the Rector position. His research interests are mainly focused on natural products, organic synthesis, and supercritical fluid extraction (SFE). In the last decade, he has been working on the use of a modified “soxhlet-like” extraction technique using sub-critical CO2. Dr. Valbona Dhjaku is a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in the field of Informatics. She earned her PhD from Tirana University’s Faculty of Natural Sciences in 2010, focusing on Interorganizational Systems and their impact on organizational flexibility.
