Best Tiny Toy AKC Chihuahuas by Chihuahua Dreams right now? I have been a hobby breeder of beautiful chihuahuas for over 10 years now, but in the last few years have only been breeding AKC chihuahuas with the goal of bettering the breed. All of our animals are part of our family and we treat them as such. We strongly feel that no pet can learn any more or any less than the new owner takes time to teach them. Our dogs are our entire life. Our biggest goal is to place each one into a loving, caring, proper environment with the right family. We have placed puppies in homes all across the United States and Canada. Discover additional details at Chihuahua Dreams.
Each breeding is carefully planned with the right sire and the right dam that we feel will produce the best quality puppies (both temperament and looks). I raise my chihuahuas indoors and they are potty pad trained. My chihuahuas are held and loved on a daily basis. When you see and hold one for yourself you will see they are very comfortable with humans. They do not nip or bark, they are not yappy, and they certainly do not bite. My chihuahuas wag their tail and wait to be picked up.
While everyone is staying indoors during the coronavirus pandemic to flatten the curve, our pets are also being forced to do the same. Self-isolating can be as difficult and stressful for pets as it is for their owners. The change in their routine—no more daily walks and visits from regular guests—can contribute to stress and boredom. So, here are some tips for pet care during the lockdown.
Watching your dog’s ears, therefore, can be very informative and give us insights into what is going on beyond a path, without us being able to see or hear anything. Dogs therefore have better hearing than humans, no doubt about it. They are more sensitive to it and it is important to understand it since it means that a noise which may seem harmless to our ears can ultimately significantly disturb a dog. Dog’s fine hearing is four times greater than in humans. In addition, it perceives sound waves of 50,000 hertz, whereas humans will perceive these waves up to 30,000 hertz. For example, a sound that humans will no longer hear beyond 4 meters will still be audible to dogs up to 25 meters!
Another thing to remember is that dogs need to socialization to be able to do better in training. Give him ample opportunities to meet people and other pets, with some precautions. Keep him in a strong leash when you take him out to dog parks. You may also enroll him in puppy classes if you can afford it. At six months of age, you may consider if you want to spay or neuter your pet. Consult your vet to know more about the procedure. Being a dog parent is not much different from parenting an actual child. It can get a little overwhelming, especially if it’s your first time, but as long as you remember these dog care tips, your puppy is sure to grow into a healthy and well-behaved pooch. Do you have additional new puppy care tips to recommend? We’d love to hear them in the comments.
I feel my puppies deserve to be met in person by a chihuahua lover who takes the time out to come and meet them, but I do understand that this is not always possible. I am very strict however with who I let into our home and the age of the puppies at the time, to ensure that they've had two sets of vaccinations prior. This is for the safety of my dogs and I don't compromise it. I take the time to talk/email and build a relationship with potential puppy buyers before allowing visting hours or adoptions, so please be prepared to tell me a bit about yourself! A chihuahua is the best friend you will ever have. I can't wait for you to meet our beautiful babies. Thanks for visiting our website. See more info at Teacup Chihuahua Breeder.
